The all-in-one activity book features theme-based chapters, grammar units and a dedicated review section. And it comes with a little extra that will make a big difference: an exam preparation booklet. The booklet helps students get ready for the different tasks that make up the ministry exam for Secondary 5 ESL.

The words students need, to progress and succeed

The On Track series puts special focus on vocabulary, making sure students learn the most common and useful words in English and not just theme-based vocabulary that is relevant only in certain contexts. In On Track 5 , students work specifically on expressions for supporting opinions - language they'll need for their year-end exam. They can also understand and appreciate the reading texts thanks to this focus on useful vocabulary.

Grammar galore!

Students see grammar in context in reading texts, receive explicit explanations and then practise, practise, practise. The hundred or so pages of grammar drill in the activity book are extended with online exercises.

The exam preparation booklet to get ready for the ministry exam

Designed to mirror the three-part structure of the actual exam, the exam preparation booklet contains dedicated sections on introductory, oral and written exam tasks. Each section features review and practice of required reading, discussion or writing strategies. The booklet also includes a complete pull-out practice exam so students can do a trial run and feel confident ahead of the big day.
